1. Provider and contact

SideQuesto is provided by ulterier sp. z o.o., entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS 0000983425, VAT PL5273012387, REGON 52267137400000. Registered address: al. Jerozolimskie 85/21, 02-001 Warszawa, Poland. Correspondence: Chmielna 73, 00-801 Warszawa, Poland. Contact: hi@sideques.to.

2. Accepting these terms

You accept these terms when you create an account, purchase a plan or use SideQuesto after being given access to them. You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter this agreement. If local law requires a parent or guardian, they must agree for you.

3. What SideQuesto provides

SideQuesto is a companion for supported coding agents. It turns technical activity into concise text and optional speech, highlights blockers and completions, and adapts presentation to user preferences. Features vary by plan, platform, coding agent and availability.

Codex, Claude, OpenAI, Anthropic, Apple, Google and Stripe are separate services. Their terms also apply when you choose to use them. SideQuesto does not control their availability or output.

4. Account and security

Keep your Mac, email account and sign-in credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law says otherwise. One person or organisation may not evade plan limits by creating duplicate accounts.

5. Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use SideQuesto for personal or internal business work during the term of your account. We and our licensors retain the software, characters, artwork, brand, documentation and other intellectual property. Open-source components remain under their own licences.

6. Your projects and feedback

You retain all rights in your projects and content. You give us only the limited permission needed to process data as described in the privacy policy. Optional feedback may be used to improve SideQuesto, but we do not claim ownership of your project and do not train a shared model on raw prompts, code, logs or audio.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

8. AI and coding decisions

Dex and Pip can misunderstand an event, omit context or repeat an error from a coding agent. SideQuesto is an explanation and accessibility aid—not a guarantee that code is correct, secure, licensed or ready to deploy. Review consequential changes, credentials, migrations, payments and production operations. Professional legal, security, financial and engineering advice remains your responsibility.

9. Plans, payment and cancellation

Free and paid plans, allowances, taxes, renewal and cancellation are described before checkout and in our billing, cancellation and refund policy. That policy forms part of these terms. Stripe processes card payments; we do not receive full card numbers.

10. Availability and changes

We aim for a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may improve, replace or discontinue features. If a change materially reduces a paid plan during its prepaid term, we will provide a reasonable alternative, credit, refund or right to end the plan as required by law.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using SideQuesto and cancel renewal at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, serious misuse or legal compliance. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to fix the issue. Termination does not remove rights or obligations that already arose.

12. Responsibility

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach or negligence. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect business losses, lost profits or losses caused by a third-party coding agent, user project, unsupported configuration or failure to review consequential output. For business users, our aggregate contractual liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service during the preceding 12 months. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

13. Governing law and disputes

Polish law governs these terms, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Consumers may use courts available under applicable consumer law. For business users, courts in Warsaw, Poland have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Start a complaint by emailing hi@sideques.to. Include the account email, a short description and the resolution you want. We aim to answer consumer complaints within 14 days.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for legal, security or product reasons. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes to paid service terms. Changes do not retroactively remove rights already earned.
